Ayahuasca Meditation, Yoga and Art

During the ayahuasca retreats we run meditation, yoga and art workshops.

Ayahuasca Meditation and Regression

Since the Ayahuasca experience occurs in a modified state of consciousness, the spiritual insights, visions, symbolic messages and communications received during the ceremonies can be difficult to comprehend in the ordinary, day-to-day state of mind.

Meditation training may help to create a mental space for the new visions and insights to sit more comfortably until the mind has time to fully incorporate all of the information received.

Silvia usually facilitates workshops that are commonly called “regressions”; although in the unconscious mind time doesn’t exist and everything is happening right now. Participants can re visit past, future or parallel lives and eventually unblock resources to reconnect with the power within.

Yoga

The ancient practice of yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline that leads one to a state of peace. Within the journey of yoga one may attain health benefits and spiritual awareness.

The class is composed of pranayama (breathing exercises), asana (poses), mudra (energetic seals) and meditation. The state of presence attained through yoga allows the practitioner to feel calm, relaxed and confident.

We  have group yoga classes included in the retreat, that are gentle and easy, with a beautiful flowing style. It is a great introduction for beginners and deep relaxation for those with more experience.

Andrea teaches participants to be mindful and playful during a yoga session enhancing life force, energy and vitality.

If someone additionally would like private yoga classes, you can request this service.

Art

Art is one of the most powerful forms of expressing the spiritual realities and visions of ayahuasca. It can take participants on a journey of art as expression of spirit.

UK, US People in Brazil Yoga CenterThere will be several art sessions during the retreat. Participants can look forward to discovering hidden resources and skills in visionary practices, expressing the divine through art and dynamic meditation.

We believe everyone is an artist and ayahuasca inspires the artist within to emerge. No prior artistic experience is required.

For many of our retreats, the late Peruvian shaman-artist Pablo Amaringo, guided our participants  in the expression of their own symbolic language as a tool for higher-self awareness and inter-dimensional communication.

We encourage participants to bring art supplies that they would normally feel comfortable using. If you are a beginner then bring some drawing quality paper, pencils for sketching and coloring, crayons and water colors. A medium sized sketch book would be ideal.
